Adrian Sutil

Adrian Sutil started out as a Midland F1 test driver, and has remained with the team as they have changed from Midland to Spyker to Force India becoming a race driver for the team in 2007. Sutil has always retained the ability to impress and look promising but it rarely comes off for him. Some of this is due to the car, the Force India has only occasionally been a good race car but he has also contributed with his own fair share of mistakes.

Sutil will be hoping that the Force India car starts the season as competitive as it ended 2009 and that he can get the most out of it. He’ll also be hoping that he can beat Vitatonio Liuzzi this year – it was honours even for the small part of last year that they raced together. If he wants to move up the grid then he needs to ensure that he doesn’t make any of the small errors that have cost him finishes in the past and that he can bring the car home whatever happens in the race. This year with more points on offer and new probably unreliable teams sticking in it to the end may yield some points.
