Bruno Senna

Bruno Senna has the name to live up to, he may not like it but it’s going to be a fact in F1. He’ll be compared at every step to his late uncle and expected to live up to his namesake. With a drive for Honda/Brawn not appearing in 2009 he spent the year concentrating on getting that elusive F1 drive and only competed in Le Mans – was that the best preparation for F1? We’ll have to wait and see.

Senna will be driving for Hispainia Racing F1 Team or HRT Cosworth as they are officially known, the team that was formally known as Campos Meta. As the team hasn’t taken part in any testing it’s going to be a steep learning curve for the young driver and he’ll have his work cut out just making sure the car can compete and finish let alone do anything in terms of results.

Bruno Senna will have an easy ride of it team mate wise as he’s been paired with an unknown Indian driver – Karun Chandhok who hasn’t really impressed anywhere. He’ll be the main driver in the team for sure and will be expected to lead the team from the front, I’m sure he’s go the racing pedigree to do so.
