What are Lewis Hamilton’s chances of the world title in 2010

Lewis Hamiton enters the 2010 season as one of the two favourites to bring home the title, along with Alonso. Last season he started as the favourite though that was quickly revised after we saw how slow the McLaren was, so it’s all down the car right? I’m not so sure.
This years McLaren looks fast, it’s topped the times at the last two tests though not by much. It seems that a lot of teams are on the pace this year and it’s not going to be a simple matter of my car is faster than yours. At least four of the teams have quick cars, Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull – Force India and Sauber have also shown themselves to be fast during the tests. Will Michael Schumacher win the title

So the guys at Brawn are saying that Michael Schumacher will take some time to adjust but that he’s still got a shot at the title.
I’d be surprised to see him at the top of the time sheets at the beginning of the season as I can’t see how they’re going to have an awesome car or that he’ll be on top form from the get go – we’ve also seen from last year that those first few races are just as important as the last few.
The Mercedes that will run in this years Championship will have been designed last year by the Brawn Team who were going hell for leather for the title and didn’t have that many resources to spare given the staff that they let go at the beginning of the season so the car will in all probability not be as good as it could [...]
