Hispania Racing F1 Team

Hispania Racing F1 Team are the team that emerge from the Campos Meta debacle. They have inherited the Dallara chassis and Bruno Senna from Campos Meta and add to that Colin Kolles and Karun Chandhok.

The team should have a solid chassis given the turmoil that it has been through over the last few months and the fact that they outsourced the design and building is the only reason that they’ve made it to the grid and US F1 didn’t.

Drivers

The team have Bruno Senna who is the nephew of Ayrton Senna, he will be very important in the development of the team as their second driver doesn’t have any F1 experience to talk of. Bruno Senna won’t shy away from his F1 chance though, he’ll be out on track with something to prove though unfortunately for him it might only be beating his team mate. Karun Chandhok is an Indian driver who has raced in GP2 for the last three years and not really made any impression, he has only taken two wins and 57 pts over that time, Senna did more than that this year and it wasn’t the most successful GP2 campaign ever. His presence at the team must come with some financial backing which makes him a pay driver, that said however in his first few runs he hasn’t been that far off Senna’s pace.
