The Albert Park GP Circuit

The Australian GP has been a main stay of the championship for some time now, it’s been moved away from the season opener and holds the second round of the season. The track itself traditionally makes for an exciting race as the Melbourne climate can produce rain which cleans the track and upsets the grid.

The circuit itself doesn’t pose much of a problem to the drivers technically but the races position in the calendar ensures that there are still uncertainties about the car and the relative performance levels and this leads drivers to over do it sometimes.
